1) 从祖兄弟:同曾祖不同祖父的男性间的血缘关系。 与朝鲜语(韩语)中的"六寸兄弟"等同。单就血缘距离而言,与英语中的"second cousin"相同；2) 从父兄弟:同祖不同父的男性间的血缘关系。 但由于"堂兄弟"(朝鲜语(韩语)"四寸兄弟”)一词的存在,此义逐渐消失, 只在日语中得到保留(itoko)。
