杨属(学名:Populus)是杨柳科的一属。包含了胡杨、白杨、棉白杨等。杨属植物为落叶乔木,在落叶前叶子变黄。与柳属植物相同,杨属植物的根部有着较强的侵略性,所以他们不能被种植在房屋和水管附近。杨属约100多种,广布于欧、亚、北美大陆。中国自生的约57种,分布在北纬近21°~53°34′,东经76°~134°的范围内。
